Equipment Installation
Installation steps are provided below to show you what is required for the installation. A basic understanding of your process or equipment is required, and of course, an electrician to do the wiring. But automation expertise is not required. If your electrician needs a hand with connections, give us a call, we are happy to help.
The first step is to connect your equipment to the CA Controller. When you order the controller it is custom assembled by all the input and output terminals required.
The CA Controller includes a standard Ethernet patch cable which is to be connected to the router. Computer is also connect to the router and the router should be connected to the Internet. This type of installation is typical of any standard network and does not require any specialized experience.
The next step is to identify your inputs and outputs, build your interface screen, and develop the program rules.
