Operation
Automation
Running the Confirmed Automation System program will pick up the setup information automatically, and start automatic operation of the equipment. The outputs such as pumps, lights, motors will all operate using the program rules entered in the CA Setup.
Manual Equipment Operation
Manual operation of the equipment can be used to over-ride the program rules. For manual operation, right click on the screen image and options are provided to turn the equipment on or off, or perform other functions. This function is great for troubleshooting or even manual control if there is a temporary failure of instruments or other devices.
Alarming
Alarms are sent by email for non-critical alarms and by phone where immediate action is required. For critical monitoring operations, alarms are used extensively to ensure that equipment operates as expected.
Remote Operation
Remote operation of the Confirmed Automation System over the Internet provides full functionality. Users can manually control equipment, change program rules and set alarms from any Internet connected computer.
Camera
The camera has been provided for a number of benefits. The camera can be viewed over the Internet, providing confirmation that the equipment is operating as expected. Additional features can be provided including the ability to record video.
Trending
The trending tool is usually only available on high end industrial control systems, but is included with the Confirmed Automation System. This tool provides user configured graph of any device connected to the Confirmed Automation System. No setup is required.
Benefits:

- Forecast when events will occur, such as when a tank will need refilling.
- See what happened – this provides invaluable information for troubleshooting equipment operation.
Reporting
The Confirmed Automation System records data about all equipment behaviour when the equipment is running. This data is used for the trending tool. It is also available for development of standard reports about the equipment operation. Development of reports and linking to the menu requires a programmer, but the Confirmed Automation System has been set up to facilitate creation of the reports. Contact us for details.
